First.....secure the toilet

Hi ya'll,

Well today is my last totally free day. Ten more days until I leave for England. Today I'll be taking the boat out for the last time. They come Monday to winterize it. Eva is coming tomorrow to help me clean it and put the covers on . No easy task, let me tell you. One I've been dreading ever since I did it last year.

I have a 5 page list of stuff that must be done before I leave and today,I finally feel like I've gotten some of the "big jobs" crossed off.

Like the back porch, the truck (trash mobile) ,and the refrigerator. Yippee!

I've made 2 trips to Petco to measure and stare at smaller cat crates. No dice. They are just too small. We're stuck with his giant one.

Funny how he can cram himself into a little paper bag but he can't act small in a dumb carrier.

Too bad I'm no longer a fearless cat smuggler.

(ckick on the blue letters if you haven't read about that)

Is that a 12 pound mouse in your pocket?

********************************************************************

I just noticed that the toilet in my guest bathroom looked crooked. "Hmmm...that's odd"

So I tried to turn the seat a little ,thinking maybe the seat was loose and crooked. Well, the whole toilet spun . Great, the toilet is falling right off the floor. Why do these things NEVER happen when my husband is home?

One more thing to add to MY list. (Insert stream of cuss words here )

**********************************************************************

I'll be back later with pictures of the party atmosphere out on the lake. This weekend is the last big blowout. It should be packed.

Have a wonderful Saturday peeps!

be careful on the lake this weekend-- it's the last hoorah of the year for most people-- and most are drinking.

our boat is still broke :(( - we usually avoid labor day and other major weekends tho so it's not that big a deal. but i do want to go out. the weather has broken finally-- it's been so nice here. ahhhhh. i haven't been out much, but even just drivin to school and such is nice.

anyhow--- i'm still confused on your departure etc.
ten days is the 15th?? i have the 16th. wth? and what day will you be "here"? i do have somewhat of a life, and a schedule. i need some updated info.
i also think, as of my last update , my mom in law and her clan of sisters shall be here-- but at a hotel... on the 15th as well.

how does a toilet spin btw? is it leaking? have you considered the idea that you pay a monthly maintenance fee for a reason? don't you have a maintenance dude?? call mr manager or mr landlord, or whatever they call that person. hmmm?

love me.

Sweet of Eva to help you clean that huge boat. That cat carrier looks huge. I wonder if Cavuto knows how far you have bent over backward to ensure his every comfort and even his life? Someday you will have to tell him. He owes you one. Toilets sit on a wax ring - yes, made of solid wax. They do spin and that is OK as long as they dont leak there at the wax ring. The wax ring is at floor level. Good luck. G5

Add this to your list: before you leave, turn off both valves to your clothes washer in order to shut the hot and cold water off. This will prevent an awful flood of your entire condo if one of the hoses splits or bursts. Also, turn the thermostat of your hot water heater all the way down. Why heat all that water when no one will be home? G5

I love your kitty pics. Every time I try to take pics of my two, they run off, or turn away. I didn't know that kitties could be camera shy.

I hope your last summer hurrah is awesome. You have done a great job of hanging in and waiting all this time...you even quit smoking! I'll bet you ARE ready to get your life going again...

Have a great rest of the weekend friend. :)
