A little of this.....a little of that....

Hi Ya'll,

Woo hoo! Floozie 1 and I are going on a field trip today.

We're going to a little Mayberry-ish town nearby for some shopping..

And some Mexican lunch.

Hopefully I shall return with something more exciting than pictures of my cats:)

******************************************************************************

My friend Eva came by yesterday and filled me in on all the latest scandals I am missing at work.

Apparently sexual harassment is running rampant. I guess broke Realtors are reverting to pubescent morons.

And it's the ones we would have least expected! Go figure.

*****************************************************************************
I think I really DO want to dress up and go somewhere on Halloween. I can be Madonna and Eva can be Cindi Lauper. We NEED to do something fun around here.It has been sooooo boring since I got home from my trip.

It's always like that ,isn't it?

I have been a slug since I got home. I must snap out of it.

Note to self : make your damn list!

*****************************************************************************

I am anxiously awaiting the movie "The secret life of bees "
I read the book a few years ago and it was SOOOO good ,I wanted to make every female I know read it.

Go see the movie ya'll . I only hope it's half as good as the book was.

**********************************************************************
Cavuto let me sleep in until 6 this morning. Woot.

For some reason I woke up thinking about how different life turns out than the way we thought it would.

Did I ever in my wildest dreams think I would be 45 , calling myself "mama" to my cats?
Wishing I would have grandkids already?
That my my kids would be all grown up and NORMAL?
That I'd be living on a lake in Arkansas?
Married to some guy from Ohio?
Getting ready to go to England?

Nope , I never would have thought any of those things would be in my future.

It made me happy to be woken up at the crack of dawn by my crazy cat.
A little reminder that God does a better job at planning than we do and sometimes he even throws in some nice surprises.

Have a great day peeps! Enjoy your life today.

Luv me

Hope you have many "finds" and lots of fun on today's outing. That Mexican food sure looks good. Excuse me, I gotta go inform Harry that he's taking me out for Mexican food this evening.

Let me guess: Arkadelphia or Glenwood? Yes, God has a plan for each of us and it is always better than what we devise for ourselves. Still, you ought to write a book: "One Woman's Story". Ophrah would put it on her show and it would be a hit bestseller. It would sell a million copies and your royalty would be a buck fify per copy. Not bad. Then they would make a movie of it and the movie rights would bring another 2 million. Then you could buy an even bigger boat and go on all the talk shows. We would record all of them and show them to our friends and tell them that we know the author. G5

Thanks for the reminder Smocha, some days I wonder what the hell HE's thinking, but I do know HE is always in control.

I had to laugh at your grown kids being normal comment, when you figure out what that is, let me know will ya?

Happy Hump Day. :)
