Hey, is that my MOO MOO?

Ola ya'll,

Well, it's that time of year again. You know when the new spring fashions start showing up in the stores. We get that first glimpse of the hideous crap we are expected to actually pay money to wear.

WHY? Why do they do this to us EVERY year? Am I wrong, or does it just keep getting uglier?

Presenting the spring 09 collection:

"um Honey ,can you carry me everywhere we go, 'cuz I can't possibly walk in my new spring shoes?"

Long skin tight shirts? Seriously, WHO besides a 10 year old could look good in this?

I am speechless, this is so ugly. They found a warehouse of old material from the 70's, is that it?

And this? Would you pay 80 bucks for this?

Yeah," my mom called , she wants her MOO MOO back!"

"Can I be a stripper who can't walk?"

"Mrs. Brady? Is that you?"

Long shirts with that stupid band on the bottom. Who can that possibly flatter?

UGH! I think this is my old maternity shirt from 1980.

Do women not look and feel fat enough?

WHO would pay money for this??

How 'bout these? You KNOW if they look this crappy on a toothpick they are really gonna look bad on US.
Maybe they should make that baggy waist a little higher.

Oh ....like THIS ! NOT!

Here it is ladies.....that sailor suit you've been missing since you outgrew it ,when you were 6!

I give up. No wonder I dress like a bum.

I'm going up to the attic and get last years ugly clothes and hope to God some of them still fit me.

Have a wonderful day and don't bother going shopping.

Luv me

The key term here is butt ugly!! My several year old clothes look better than what's on the racks for spring. Save me a lot of money, it will.

Never saw such ugliness in all my life. Do not buy it! All the fashion designers try to outdo each other. I went to Little Rock today lookin for a suit to wear to a wedding later this month, being as how I haven't bought a suit in about 20 years. Talk about sticker shock! Acckkkkk!!! But Men's Wearhouse was having a buy one, get one free sale so I ended up with two suits. Woo ha! - a 40 year supply. G5
PS Just lookin at those shoes makes my feet hurt.

I replied to this, but I don't know if it went through. If so, please delete this one.

Did you get those pictures from Lucky magazine? I've blasted them several times on my personal blog for trying to pitch this crap on us. I agree with everything you said!

Thanks for sharing on BPOTW!

I was in a department store last weekend for the first time in eons. The clothes look much like the ones in your pics. Horrible! omg. I would not wear any of that stuff. What are we going to do until this fashion trend comes to an end? We are doomed. DOOMED I tell ya! lol It is but to laugh to keep from crying.

No to all of it. Ugh...

Well, maybe not those sailor pants.

Do they have a built in girdle panel? 'Cause they look like they could hijack the tummy flab and push you up a cup size.

Or five, depending on how much cocolate you ate this week.

This calls for some serious blasphemy, except I couldn't do that to Jesus just over fashion...

You're right about that seventies huge ugly shirt; I remember being with my mother when she bought one for my older sister. God this stuff is bad...

But I actually do like the first two pairs of black shoes, top photo...really. Wear them? Perhaps...but I do like them...
