Please pass the xanax.......

Happy Thursday Ya'll,

It's taken me about 7 years to realize that having a hysterectomy does NOT get rid of PMS.

The new pimple crop every month.....didn't even make the connection.

The out of place ,overblown rage.....just thought I was a hateful bitch.

The waking up ten pounds fatter overnight....just thought I was unlucky.

Having a blog has allowed me to look back to the last time I felt homicidal. What a coincidence.......a month earlier .

Last night when my poor spouse called I felt like ripping him to shreds through the phone. For NO reason. I suppose I am relived to realize it's good ole' PMS and not the fact that I am becoming a psychotic lunatic.

Lucky for him, this happened BEFORE he got home:)

To say "I'm a little s.....l.....o......w" would be a gross understatement. Man, I'm a LOT slow!

******************************************************************************
This afternoon I get to go to the dentist for my ONE crown that my insurance will cover. (the other 3?) no idea when that will happen.

I am SOOOOO not looking forward to going. The shots, the white knuckled terror. UGH!

Today we're supposed to have a "cold snap" it's only supposed to get up to 95 degrees.
How refreshing. NOT!

My little garden is practically dead ,I keep watering my two tomatoes that are hanging there on withered vines. I should just throw the whole lot of them in the trash.

Woo, see what a hag I am right now.

I'm shutting up:)

Have a great day peeps!

Luv me

Men can't pack.......

Happy Tuesday peeps,

Yesterday my original plan was to stay home and clean. Floozie1 called me around 9 and was actually free to go have lunch. Her husband is under hospice care at home now so she rarely gets to leave the house.
Obviously, lunch was more important then cleaning:)
Once I was out I had to go to a few thrift stores, the library, the liquor store, the car wash and the grocery store. That's usually how exciting my days are.

It is so damn hot!106 degrees~ I did not touch the inside of the truck. Just went thru the auto carwash.

Then I spent hours putting ads on the internet to sell the little car. Yep, we finally decided NOT to ship it over to England.
Last night I asked my husband if he had thought of what he needed to bring over there. You know , like living essentials. Sheets , coffee makers, etc..
His reply "Dress clothes , computer cables ,routers and such. "

Ahhh , the really important stuff. ACK!Save me!

He leaves for England in less than 2 weeks. Yikes! It's really happening.

In the middle of the night last night ,I heard this huge crashing sound. I thought it sounded like Cavuto fell into the bathtub.
I ignored it and went back to sleep.

When I got up this morning ......this is what I saw

I was confused at first ,because it looked like a bowl of cat food.
It's actually a sea urchin that WAS filled with some kind of potpourri. Now it's broken garbage.

And a nice fake plant that may or may not be ruined.

Good job Grace.

I actually found a few things at the thrift store, for the first time in ages.

Cute picture frame , still sporting the 2 dollar price tag.

2 Cute cat plaques.

And a cute candle holder.

I MUST force myself to get my list made and get this house back in order before my hubby gets home. He gets home Saturday. How does ONE person make such a mess??

Maybe the cats did it.

Hope you guys have a great day!

Luv me

College Road Trip

Stop-Loss

tackles another
controversial topic with STOP-LOSS, the story of a U.S. soldier

to
Texas after a harrowing final tour in Iraq. He's accompanied by the
remaining men from his unit, all of whom are more than a little shell-shocked.
Welcomed home as a hero, Brandon is awarded a Purple Heart by a visiting
state senator. But the homecoming quickly turns sour, as each of the soldiers
struggles to assimilate back into society.

***** I want to buy this movie!

Synopsis: Meet Bill (Aaron Eckhart)—a doormat if there ever was one.
A man reduced to a mere accessory to his family by working a dead end
job at his father-in-law's bank, Bill's wife Jess (Elizabeth Banks) is loathe
to explain her "friendship" with the local news anchorman (Timothy Olyphant).
But Bill's fate begins to change when he becomes mentor to a self-assured boy
(Logan Lerman) who engineers Bill's recovery with the help of a cute lingerie sales girl named Lucy (Jessica Alba). Together, the trio confronts Bill's hapless life with humor and energy while forcing him to capture his dream of being financially independent and self-confident.

I think I need a pocket knife for my birthday.....

Happy Sunday Ya'll,

( Ignore the damn underlining)

Yesterday I was a lazy bum. I took the boat out . Went to party cove. There were quite a few boats anchored up. I found my self a decent spot. Put out 2 anchors, put down the ladder, got my raft and cooler all set up. As I was laying there in my raft IN the water,it was so hot out ,my eyes were stinging because they were pooling up with sweat.

Pretty soon I realize the damn anchors are NOT holding. Dammit. I was drifting FAST ,right toward the shore. If you get too shallow the propeller will be hitting the ground.I was too close to the shore to pull the anchors up.(no time) In my haste to hurry up and get away from the shore,I forgot to pull my raft up.

I started the boat and about 3 second later ...it died. Oh shit. I went back there and looked and what do I see?
The rope (attached to my raft) is wrapped all around the propeller. And the raft is wedged under the back of the boat as well.Great.

I looked in every nook and cranny of the boat for a knife. No luck. "WHY do we not have a knife on this boat?"

I considered yelling out to someone "hey do you have a knife?" But embarrassment won out . Instead after about 20 minutes of brute strength and stepping on the rope a lot,I was able to unwrap the whole stupid rope and free the raft as well.Good times :)

By then I had drifted a couple feet away from the shore and was able to start the boat without destroying the propeller.
The anchors still refused to hold. After pulling the damn things up and moving about 4 more times. I had had enough fun for one day. ack!

Note to self: Get a new anchor!!A BIG one.

Last night the boat dealer had a big party called "Margaritaville"

They had a band and catered food and margaritas.Eva and I went and so did Noesy and G5.

Apparently people can not afford to buy boats until they reach the golden years. Eva and I were among about 10 people under the age of 60.

The party was held outside and needless to say ,it was still roasting hot. Nothing says party like sweating like pigs.

Eva went and asked this guy to dance. Believe it or not HE was the best looking guy there.
Welcome to Arkansas:)

I asked some elderly drunk lady to take our picture.

(awful!) Sweaty pigs:)

And yes ,that's a big ole band aide on my forehead.

Dang, I forgot to get a picture of Nosey and G5.

Today it is supposed to 105 with a heat index of 115.

I think I shall be staying IN all day and cleaning my pig sty. Fun Fun Fun:)

Have a great Sunday peeps!

Luv me

Wham bam ,thank you ma'am.......

TGIF People,

Isn't it funny how your mind can run wild sometimes?

Need a 3 hour nap , I bet you have leukemia. Have some "thing" on you forehead?Ugh, I bet it is malignant and they will have to remove your nose and half your face.

These were the crazy thoughts going through my head yesterday. I actually had to tell myself "shut up! you crackhead!"

My doctors nurse called me yesterday "we got your lab work back, you are hypothyroid , we'll call in some thryroid medicine and your white cell count is high, we'll see you back in 4 weeks for more blood work."

Being hypothyroid DOES cover not only my exhaustion , but also my horrible memory,my metabolism of a slug, the dry itchy skin and a myriad of other crappy symptoms.
I am the poster child!

Whew, no leukemia. Thank God.

My appointment with the skin doc wasn't until 2:15 so I had all day to picture horrible skin cancer scenarios.

I finally get there and they sit me in this weird fat chair , my feet were dangling a foot above the ground. Not very comfortable . I felt sorry for little kids everywhere.

The doctor comes in and says "what are we seeing you for today?"

I lifted up my bangs and showed him . He said "Ewww."

"That is a ruptured blood vessel. We can cauterize it right now and it will look like a big scratch."

He whipped the chair back, poked some needles in my head and then the room filled with the smell of burning flesh. The nurse slapped a band aid on it and I was done.

Wham bam ,thank you ma'am. And I've been hiding that ugly thing for 10 damn years.

(nice roots BTW)

No more east indian dot. YIPPEE!!
And no face eating cancer either. Thank God.

Woo Hoo a new box!!

"what in the world is wrong with this woman?
always sticking that camera in my face."

Have a wonderful friday peeps!

Luv me
