Well, (insert stream of cuss words) I just tracked by boxes, since I have heard nothing about how much money they want from me. And what do I see?
For some reason it says "unable to deliver , returned to shipper" (that would be me. )

(insert more cuss words) WHY???
Now I am back to square one ,again with that shit!
UGH!!!!

Not one word on my Visa either.

UGH! I am sooooo MAD!!!!!

I spent my entire day working on my 4 page list. Fun times, ya'll.

I spring cleaned and inventoried both freezers and the refrigerator.

Springs cleaned the laundry room .

Scrubbed my tub and all the steel sinks.

took out a ton of frozen trash.

Vacuumed the whole house.

Cleaned the kitchen

Mopped the floors.

Cleaned the office.

Did laundry.

Searched in vain for my photo program (so I'll have it in England)

Took a break in there ,long enough to go eat a hideous lunch at KFC.
They have a lot of nerve calling that fast food. 9 bucks for that slop!

That was my thrilling day.

It's windy as hell and freezing out side. And I'm in a great mood. (not!)

Those boxes, which have been the bane of my existence for about 2 weeks ,are on their merry way to England. Good riddance!

Still NO word on my VISA. 24 hours ,my eye!

Last night ,I made my 4 page list of work that needs to be done before I leave. But...it's too soon to do most of it .So I actually have a few days to be lazy. I also made hubbys list (lol) which is not going to thrill him. He's gonna be a busy boy while he's home.

Now that I am out of "waiting for UPS prison" I am gettin' out of this house today. Yippeeee!!!!

My hubby got to go to some convention in London, for the last 2 days. They took them all out to dinner last night on one of those big red, double decker buses. You know, the cool ones that I am dying to see? Did he bring his camera? so his poor neglected wife could see the bus, or London, or anything? NO!

Somebody tell me, how could he be so selfish?So insensitive, so thoughtless!
I am crushed!


I'm off to get my chores done so I can be out of here the minute the stores open.

This has been a long week. My VISA papers have been in L.A. since Tuesday. I have not heard a word . Other's have said "I got an email saying they received my documents."
"I got a phone call asking my travel dates." I got nothing.
I can't help wondering..... "did we screw something up?" "did we send them TOO much information?" ack! It's gonna be a long weekend.

That is the first time I have ever beat one of my kids at anything. They have been kicking my ass at everything for 28 years. Tic tac toe, Chess, Mario Brothers, Tetris, Monopoly,War, Scrabble, you name it.
It feels good to win!!Bwa ha ha ha !!!!

I've spent the last 4 hours working on trying to ship our stuff to England.

From the shipping company:

Fine. OK. Except we have one huge thing which we must take and no way will it fit in a suitcase.

I am waiting for quotes on how to get this crap to England. 5 lousy boxes......that's all I plan to send. UPS wants over a thousand dollars to send 5 boxes!I think NOT!

USPS...2 of my boxes are too big for them. I TRIED like hell to pack light. Then i repacked and packed even lighter .I am down to about 8 pairs of shoes.......can you imagine living an entire winter with 8 pairs of shoes?4 coats, 6 sweaters, and 3 scarves. ?

Ha!I can not fathom such a thing.

I am also nervously awaiting word on my Visa application. We sent them a copy of ,pretty much ,our entire lives. Surely nothing can go wrong. Right?

On a lighter note.....after about 3 months of starving and giving up happy hours ,I have finally lost about 5 whole pounds. Woot!
Anybody else would have been a toothpick by now.At this rate I should be thin by the time I die of old age.
