Hi ya'll,

Well we got the news yesterday and it was bad. Cavuto's chip is gone. They saw nothing on the ex-rays that could even possibly be the chip.

So, he will NOT be coming home.I get to go see him today. I will find out then what his "living conditions" are.

After that, I will have to make the hardest desision of my life. Do I leave my baby living there for the next 6 months? Or do I leave my husband again for another 6 months? (and take Cavuto back to Arkansas)

I have had some crappy choices in this lifetime ,but man, this one is the shittiest .The way my husband was living (without me) he may as well have been in a cage himself. Living on broccoli, doing nothing but work, in this depressing bare house.

Man, who gets the cage? him or my baby?

I also NEED to be here with my husband.I am truely at the end of my emotioanl rope. I though that crap was over. This was supposed to be my adventure of a lifetime. :(

If Cavuto stays in quarantine, he just has to stay there and "do his 6 months"
if I take him back home he has to go through all that Vet crap again, a new microchip, all new shots, rabies vaccines, rabies blood draw, tick and tapeworm treatment . (THEN wait 6 months ) and then go through the stress of the flights again too.

I am not sure that all those vaccines are good for him , to get them a second time. All that stuff he didn't physically need ,even ONE time.

So, that's where I'm at right now . And it is an awful place to be.

I will be able to think more about what to do after I see Cavuto this afternoon.I miss him so much.Hopefully he is doing much better than the horrors I come up with in my imagination.

Yesterday my husband dropped me off at this outdoor shopping mall. Little did I know that it was mostly clothing stores. ack! So I walked around freezing for a few hours. Mostly observing the people and the fashions they were wearing.

Here's some observations:

Young men (teens) wear skin tight girl lookin' pants with some really flat shoes.

Girls /young women wear short shorts with black tights.

Nearly all the females were wearing boots of some sort.

The little tiny girls were all dressed very fashionably. No one looked like they just rolled out of my local Walmart back home. (some of you know exactly what I mean here) LOL

They all seemed quite used to the cold. I was the only one freezing to death.(and wearing ear muffs)

I tried a baby "beef pastey" , basicly it was like a hot pocket which desperately needed some cheese.

I also had an iced mocha, which seemed to have no coffee in it. it tasted more like chocolate ice cream with a straw.

Later on ,I got the strongest most horrid coffee I have ever had. Even with extra cream and 10 sweet and lows.....it was bitter city!

*******************************************************************************
On the way home we stopped at the "good" grocery store. I could have spent hours in there looking at stuff. But my husband was literally dragging me down the aisles. (to hurry up ,get what we needed and get out)

No salsa to be had. But Indian food galore!

No sweet and low either. They have these little tiny saccherine pills.

Also no" fat free half and half" or any liquid coffee creamer .Just full on real cream baby.

All kinds of neat stuff that i didn't get to look at.

*********************************************************************************

Oh yeah, I am on a brand new computer here and I need everyone to send me your email address so i can get it in my outlook express. OK.

************************************************************************

The pictures from yesterday. Very cloudy and dreary.

Santa's grotto. I can't remember what a grotto is. lol

Who's Larry?

Hi Ya'll,

Yesterday they took Cavuto to the vet to be ex-rayed,naturally...they were unable to pin him down and pose him. lol Like he was going to allow THAT! So, he had to go back to starve all night so he could be sedated this morning for the ex-rays. I should get a call after they find out if the chip is still there. We are all just a wreck.

Apparently this happens a few times a year. The chips can migrate and sometimes come out all together. If that is the case, he would have to go back to the US and do the entire 6 month process and wait ALL over again. PLEASE PRAY THAT THEY FIND THE CHIP.

The big deal to insure the same cat has been through all this sh*t, is because the UK is rabies free. They don't want our stinkin' rabies!

When I spoke to the lady (one of the many times) yesterday,I asked her how Cavuto was doing. She said "He's just as happy as Larry"
Whatever that means.LOL

*************************************************************

My plane.I was trying to see them load the cats. But didn't. I imagined all kinds of horrible things going wrong.Oddly ,someone's chip dissapearing was NOT one of them.

London heathrow, and some teenage fashion plates.

Notice anything odd and confusing?

Our little car, seemingly has never been washed.

Check those flavors!

I have not tried any yet.

A pretty nifty outhouse at the animal reception center.

Pretty fancy for an outhouse.

THIS was horrifying. Every time a car was coming towards us I felt like we were about to have a head on collision.

You think my husbands driving is scary in the US......wooo...you ain't seen scary yet!

***************************************************************************
Yesterday I cleaned the house all day long. Now that it is as normal as possible ,maybe I'll have some time today to recap my trip.

I did walk to the store yesterday too. I aksed some lady on a bike which way to go. She didn't stop , just yelled it out to me as she sped by.

I was also equipped with wool coat, fur scarf, and ear muffs. It was still freezing!

I found a duvet cover for our bed and got very few groceries. I need to go to some better stores. Hubby had to go out of town yesterday,so he got home late.

Depending on what we hear about Cavuto ,today he may come home and get me at lunch time and drop me off to shop in Portsmouth. Hopefully ,I'll be able to go see the baby too.
Not really sure if that's a good idea or not. (for him or ME)

If the video tour didn't work for you, try it again. It seems fine now.

I'll be back latah dahlinks.

Have a great day ! Don't forget those prayers!

luv me

oh, P.S. My son tried to call my cell phone last night. It does not work. It won't even let me retrieve the voice mail.

So until we get the vonage set up.....email is the way to reach me.

No time yet to write about the trip , so below is the grand tour of the teensy house.

Oh NO!!!Please NO!

We made it. Most of us are home.

I'll update tommorow . Hopefully, I'll be done crying by then.

Cavuto got confiscated at the animal reception center. We spent 6 hours there. They could not read (or FIND) his microchip.

So ,they would not release him to us. He will be taken and (kept) in quarantine, while they ,first xray him to try and find the chip,if they find it ...then they will remove it surgicly and send it to the manufacturor to be read. And THEN , they would release him to come home. If they can not find the chip, it would mean 6 months of quarantine. Meaning , Cavuto and I would have to fly back home.

So far , all the British people I have met (while standing around bawling my head off, in public) have seemed very friendly and consoling.
I could only understand about half of what they said to me, but all in all....I now know the secret to meeting British people. Crack up in public. They 're a very caring lot ,so it seems.

Monkey and O'Reilly are doing fine. But my baby is NOT. God only knows what the poor little thing must be thinking.

A quickie from laptop hell......

Hi all,

I'm sitting here on Souls dang laptop...with the buttons I can barely use. NO mouse. Ack!

My trip here was fine, except for Cavuto and Monkey screaming the entire way.Luckily I was able to mostly drown them out with very loud Christmas music.

They thought THAT was bad.LOL
They had yet to arrive at the house of Soulpets.

They went from screaming to growling and hissing. Cavuto and O'Reilly have been growling and hissing the entire time we've been here.
I am hoping they stop long enough to eat and go potty. Gah!

Souls dog EEvie came charging at me ,barking and had me screaming like a lunatic.

The cats have to be at the airport 4 hours before their flight. Oh my poor babies. This is pretty damn traumatic for them allready.

I can't believe I will be in london tomorrow morning.

*insert more jangly nerves*

I read eveyones comments ...but it's too difficult to try and get to answering them on this THING. lol

So I will see ya'll on the Britsih side:)

Wish us luck.

p.s. I will film the babies next time I go in there. Cavuto's cage has that big sticker that says "I'm very friendly" and he's growling like he's rabid. I hope they let us in the country. LOL

Farewell my friends..........

Hi Ya'll,

Well, my husband is hilarious. He instructed me to disconnect and return our cable boxes.

(This...is only the tip of the iceberg that was back there)

Ha ha.

I had to have my neighbor Lake Farmer come figure out how to do it.

Thanks Lake Farmer!!

I take the cable boxes back and THEN the morons inform me "oh we can't turn off your cable until you bring your modem back too"

"oh thanks for NOT telling me that on the phone , 10 MINUTES AGO!"

So, I must now try and figure out how to get that off of here and my computer will be no more.

I will check in with ya'll ,tonight at Souls.

I was up until 10 last night trying to finish getting ready. I was hoping to be done long before then. So I could sit and relax and call my chilluns. BUT noooooo.

Note to Chilluns: I will call you guys today, some time. Love mom

Cavuto is practicing . Too bad once the door is closed ,he HATES it in there.

I have to go get my rental car, take all 3 cats to the stinkin' Vet ,return my flippen modem, load the car, and then I will be on my way.

For my wonderful 6 hour drive to Souls house.

Then off to England tomorrow.

(nerves clanging)

Wish me luck peeps!

Have a great day.

Farewell!

Oh sister Dear, have I got an ornament for you....

Hi Ya'll,

Well, here it is .....my LAST day before I leave.

*hear my knees knocking together from nerves*

Last night Floozie2, Nosey and me went out to dinner at Outback. We had a delicious Wallabedurned.Actually, I had 2 . They brought my food ,covered in mushrooms after I had requested "no mushrooms" . So our nice waiter brought me a second one for free:)

I've been on my starvation diet for so long ,which includes NO dinners...I felt like I was doing something really BAD , eating in the evening.

After dinner we went to see the movie

Four Christmases.

I just read the reviews on Rotten Tomato ...A perfect example of why I hate and never trust movie reviews.
The reviews were awful!

We laughed our asses off. I thought the movie was adorable. If you have any dysfunctional relatives at all, you will love this movie.

I thought Reese Witherspoon was the cutest little crumb of a girl and Vince Vaughn (while no Hotty) was great as her giant boyfriend.

If you don't like this movie ,you are a big stuffy scrooge and you may as well go hide in your closet so you don't ruin any one else's holiday season with your dreary presence.

Go see it! Hurry..run... you can buy it for me too, when it comes out on DVD. lol

Thanks for the date girlfriends! I'm gonna miss you guys :(

**************************************************************************
It was nearly 10 by the time we got home. I stayed up until midnight ,trying to finish the book I am reading. Naturally, my husband calls me and wakes me up at 5 this morning. GAH!

I went ahead and got up ...and what to my horror do I feel?
Oh Lord, NO , don't let that be a pain in the ass I am feeling.

Yep, you guessed it.....my effin boil is coming back!!!!!!!

Oh sister dear, please find and sterilize your exacto knife before I arrive tomorrow .
You are the lucky winner who gets to lance my boil .You may also want to consult with
Dr. Google on HOW to do the ..uh surgery.

I wish I WAS kidding. I can not go on a long flight with that THING!

Lucky for you....it's not THIS bad. It only feels like it.

Have a great day Peeps!

Smooches:)
